Tech786– Google unveiled its Pixel 6 Series (Google Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro) last month in countries including Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Taiwan, Japan, the United States and the United Kingdom.

Meanwhile, the Google Pixel 6 device, newly launched by Google Fit app, is said to include features including hard rate tracking and respiratory rate tracking. These features have already been offered to Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a users for a few days. In this case, for some reason these were not included in the Pixel 6 series.

But now with Google Fit these new features are said to be featured in the Google Pixel 6 and Google 6 Pro. This new feature allows users to measure their heart rate and monitor their breathing rate through the smartphone’s camera and flash. 9to5Google reports that for the first time Google Pixel 6 phones now get heart rate and breath monitoring features through the Google Fit App.

While Google Fit Apps uses the phone’s camera to measure heart rate and respiration rate, Google has stated that this feature is “not for medical use”. Meanwhile, a report released by 9to5Google states that when testing the heart rate monitoring feature, its results are accurate and compatible with the Fitbit tracker.

Although the Fit app on older Pixel devices has a dedicated button to enable Flashlight, the current Pixel 6 series does not seem to have this option. So a precise conclusion requires a well-lit environment. It has been reported that these features will be available to some Google Pixel 6 Series users in early access mode.
