Xiaomi abruptly raises the price of 2 budget smartphones …!

In India, the price of two budget smartphones, the Redmi 9A and Redmi 9A Sport, has been increased by Rs 300. The price of Redmi 2 budget smartphones, a subsidiary of Xiaomi, which is very popular among Indian mobile users, has been slightly increased.

Tech786– In India, the price of two budget smartphones, the Redmi 9A and Redmi 9A Sport, has been increased by Rs 300. The rise is due to the current shortage of semiconductors, rising component prices and supply chain problems.

The Redmi 9A mobile (Basic 2GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant), which was priced at Rs 6,999 following the price hike, is now priced at Rs 7,299. Similarly, the Redmi 9A Sport mobile (3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant), which was priced at Rs 7,999, is now priced at Rs 8,299.

The Redmi 9A Mobile comes in colors including Midnight Black, Natural Green and Sea Blue. As well as the Redmi 9A Sport mobile is available to customers in color options including Carbon Black, Coral Green and Metallic Blue.

The Redmi 9A Sport mobile was launched in India last September at the same time as the Redmi 9A mobile was launched in India last year. Both phones come with a 20: 9 display and are powered by Octa Core MediaTek Helio G25 SoC processor.

Xiaomi, which has confirmed the price hike of the above two mobiles, has stated in a related statement that these price changes are inevitable. Xiaomi claims that the price of most of the components used in smart phones is constantly rising and therefore the mobile price increase action is inevitable without any other option. Both Redmi 9A and Redmi 9A Sport use MediaTek chipsets. Several reports have pointed to the recent rise in the price of MediaTek chipsets.

This is not the first time Xiaomi has raised the price of its budget phones in India. Last September saw a significant increase in the prices of budget smartphones including Redmi 9, Redmi 9 Power, Redmi 9 Prime, Redmi 9i, Redmi Note 10T and Redmi Note 10S.
